Allen’s Landing – Cottages on Clear Lake, just north of Huntsville, close to both Arrowhead and Algonquin Parks, is owned and hosted by Steve Spiers and Susanne Allen Spiers and their three year old son, Aidan. This unique location
offers affordable and safe lakeside Muskoka accommodation, perfect for families with young children. Both are teachers with an entrepreneurial spirit who hope to share their love of Muskoka, trees, water and simple lakeside cottage living with their guests, all year round. Allen’s Landing caters to families who need to get away from the fast pace and technology of everyday life. It is for those
who enjoy the simple pleasures of the quiet North and wish to share these experiences with their family.
Allen’s Landing features five fully equipped lakeside housekeeping cottages, nestled among four treed acres with 300 feet of private sandy beach and shoreline. All of our Muskoka cottages have lake views and two are literally lakeside. Accommodations are newly renovated and furnished, and simply decorated to provide our guests with a comfortable vacation. All cottages have 3 piece washrooms and running hot and cold water. Three of the cottages are winterized for the enjoyment of winter enthusiasts.
Guests will enjoy our clean cottages, snuggled on the shores of pristine Clear Lake. All cottages are well spaced and thus private, allowing guests the option to enjoy solitude or mix and mingle with other visiting groups. Whatever your vacation goal, there are endless things to do both at the resort and nearby.
Please note: Allen's Landing is pet friendly from September through June, excepting the ten peak summer weeks when the property is at full capacity. There is just not enough time in our Saturday five hour change over to properly prepare the cottages for those who may have pet allergies.
